The Voices of Faith Officers are happy to invite all of you to a Family Swing Dance on Friday, May 15th, from 6:30 to 9:00 at the Southern Oaks Baptist Church gymnasium. These events are always very popular and tons of fun for the whole family! The Al Fine Little Big Band, from Southern Oaks Baptist, will be providing the live music, and there will be a dance lesson right at 6:30. Be on time so you don’t miss that! Many people enjoy dressing in 1940s style clothing for the dance: twirly dresses and skirts and polka dots for the gals, and for the guys, slacks and button-up shirts, bow ties, and suspenders. If you don’t have these items, come anyway! Please bring a hearty snack to share, such as Little Smokies, sliders, meatballs, cheese and crackers, small sandwiches, fruit, and other fun finger food. Sweets and chips are also welcomed, but we really need hearty foods most! We are suggesting a $5 per person or $15 per family donation. Donations will help support the band and thank the instructors. Invite friends from your churches, homeschool co-ops, and friends interested in choir!

Cost: $5/person with $15 max per family

As this is a family event, parents are responsible for supervising their own children. You may drop off older children if you believe that they can handle that responsibility and will behave appropriately. Thank you for understanding.
